Akane can barely walk right now and laments how after the Sonozaki were thought to be the culprits behind the tragedies 30 years ago, now they have fault in the whole conflict with Polaris. Tamaki feels like the weight of this is burdening and so she hopes to improve relations with Polaris to help her grandmother. Satoko asks if Sakiko doesn't want to go to the viewing, but she says under the current situation it's impossible, and they need to be home if Kisaku suddenly returns at night. Keitaro tells his plan to Rika, who says the usual "fight oh!" to push him forward. However, suddenly Inori and Kururu are standing in front of his home. He goes to open it, but then a bunch of random Polaris villagers rush in, with one of them holding his mouth.
