>You're a horrible person for trying to defend porn of a character like that, that you also claim to love. You don't love them.
That's your opinion. I don't think there is anything horrible in that. You keep saying I don't love her because I save porn of her and It implies that nearly everyone who has a waifu doesn't love. But it doesn't really matter. Because it's just your opinion. Waifuism isn't about fitting into someone's screwed definition of love. You might want to be special snowflake that is right and everyone else is wrong, but in reality everyone else will just agree that what we feel is love because it's such a wonderful, heart warming that makes your heart go doki doki when you see her and makes you want to be with her for the rest of your life and makes you not care about any other real or fictional girl.
>You're obsessed with a chunk of Japanese culture
I always thought japs aren't so serious and organised about loving fictional characters. There are exceptions but I heard they don't take it as seriously, have 3DPDs etc. Still, I've only heard rumors.
>and you you like community in these threads, so you adopt a waifu because you want to fit in.
No, I've never though I would be a part of them, until I started to get really attached to her. And I mean it, I started to need her more and more, I've been looking at her images every night before sleep, listening to her and thinking about her all the time, she filled by whole days. That's when I realized I love her and I tried these threads. Still I don't really like the community in these. I used to go to waifu IRCs etc. but as they became larger I started to feel I don't really fit in and stopped participating. I only reply to questions in the Wednesday threads once a week or something. You can't really call it fitting in into the community. I don't visit all these discords, IRCs, drawthreads etc. that are so popular there.
