Does anyone feel like consuming entertainment is mostly a waste? In a year or so you've already forgotten the details of what happened in a manga/vn/video game.

What should I do then? Read or play the same thing again? Because it would probably be just as entertaining. But then it feels kind of hollow. Couldn't I then consume new things for about two years, but then start from the beginning and repeat the process for the next two, and then do it again and again?

I don't want to do that. But I don't want to forget, either.
