first there were a lot of good utau that became popular, like gekiyaku, yamine renri, kohaku merry, anna nyui. also otomachi una was released was very popular.

also the producers that stayed/joined through the massive drop off in popularity after 2014 were ones that cared about vocaloid and werent just trying to be popular. like police picadilly, yunnosuke, etc

now the fandom is invaded by project sekai twitter spastics and a million randoms chasing fame with untuned flower songs. its over.

at least we have the TTS/cevio AI corner of the fandom with kiritan, the kotonohas, etc. theres no saving the sekai and flowerheads sadly
