As an avid Cave/Touhou-fag, I expected Jamestown to be a casual and laid-back yet mildly amusing shmup. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was not only a lot of fun, but the later stages on Judgement level, particularly that last fucking one, are just about as brutally unforgiving as the aforementioned series on their respective maximum difficulties (at least when playing solo). Don't be offput because it's a Western game.
