And the only way to be able to do that is having a sense for magic in the first place.
If it's not in your blood, then you can't do it, and you certainly can't comprehend it.
With science, humans can use artificial means to tap into the universe's energy, but in they end, can you really say you even understand science? You understand how things happen, but WHY do they happen?
In the end, scientists and magicians must both never stop asking questions, and must never assume that they know all there is to know. Such thinking is foolhardy.

The point of eating is to give your body the fuel it needs to make energy in order to properly operate. If you can't even comprehend that not eating will slowly KILL you, or if you just don't care, then yes, you're probably depressed. I would seek professional help as soon as possible.
