Damn. I'm still not used to HD content. All those sizes (500Mb for 3 minutes) still scare the fuck out of me.
And damn HD too, now all those old DVD-rips look like shit (example: Haru Matsu Ringu Pink ;_;)

And do you happen to know any quick way to calculate the bitrate given a -crf value? I usually encode DVDs at 2000 kbps but sometimes it's not enough and sometimes I could've reduced it a bit more (yeah, I'm a cheap bastard). Or maybe I should tweak the config for constant ratefactor and quit whining.
