Hey guys,

just wondering what the effect of vassalizing the various different factions is? I tried it on Hara, and it didn't do anything interesting (and lost me my +5 sat from Akahime) so I haven't bothered since then.

Do you have to vassalize all the countries to get all the CG and see interesting events, or is it generally not worth it?

So I was trying to do kill the monkey when suddenly shimazu decided to start stealing my woman.

How do I make it stop? I don't have any exploration event of this on their map

So I was starting a new game and decided to grab the secret characters Gekko and Shizuka... but I started the game and they did not appear in my army list.
Is this normal? Or do I have to do some quest to get them?

Wait, I got 160 satisfaction but I can't get the fourth fan?

Seeing how there's no other Rance thread:
I'm starting my 3rd game now.
Just finished Ran route but had almost no character clears so I'm stuck between getting an additional action fan + extra equipment or get kill the monkey route + equipment.

My gut says action fan should be better but playing without time pressure is tempting me.

What should I do?

when do the 20 point bonus characters gekko and shizuka join? i didnt see them at the start.

As there's no Rance thread, might as well make one.

I have a doubt now that I've entered Ran route... if I clear her now before she dies, will it count as character clear or not (considering she'll die from story events)?

So I cleared the game for the first time and have no extra points (just the 5 you get for clearing it once).
Should I get the battle permits or one of the extra Alice Soft characters?

Any tips for beating Byakko?
