I being in awe at one of his pics a year ago. Good to know that he has done more.

I agree that his interpretation of touhou characters is great. Not because the pics appear grim and macabre in a literal sense, but because of how most of them are clever metaphors drawn in an unique style.

This one for example. Some see a child about to be consumed by Rumia, hence the impending doom pool tag. But I see the pitch black darkness of the tunnel depicted as Rumia. Kind of like how ancient folks made up fairy tales about man eating monsters to explain people getting lost in forests.

After all, touhou is a collective of physical manifestations of nature/myths.
