Her expressions lack character (despite Arcueid herself as written being full of character). How she portrays herself lacks any sort of identity or uniqueness to it. She looks far less striking in every scene. This is a side effect of the higher fidelity compared to the much simpler art in the past but it's still present nonetheless.

She's still cute, she still get's childish, she still get's angry and a bit psycho, etc but the artstyle waters it down so hard I can barely describe it. You know I'm right. The equivalent of this scene in the remake, despite giving her a new multitude of expressions, ironically all lack standing out remotely and is a perfect example of this art softening in action.
