Now that the manga is getting close to this... I really wonder.

Did Satoko really inject Rika with Ketalar in Nekodamashi? Or was it the H173 ampule with different label to fool Rika? Ketalar is a powerful painkiller so it seems like an act of mercy, but the really fucked up thing is that it doesn't really work on the pain pathways of the internal organs. It sure is a good choice for watanagashi torture. Even if this was a last resort to stop Rika's permasuicide attempt, it just seems too heavy. And it would also suggest Satoko having an uncharacteristic knowledge of pharmaceuticals.

It's all just so fucked up.
