newfag here. as my goal is only to be able to read japanese (i.e. not interested in speaking or listening), should i/am i able to "skip" certain things? im probably mistaken but it seems to me like kunyomi and onyomi for a kanji are only relevant to the spoken word and not the written word. what should i pay special attention to, and what should i skip, if anything?
