They're probably more a direct part of her. Medusa snakes have a mind of their own, but see the Medusa as a family member. A mother who takes care of them, or stern parents who want to make sure the man she dates treats her right.

Not too big a fan of MGE Medusa's tiny hair-snakes. Bigger ones are way cuter. And she could blow you with them.
