I hate both old /jp/ and nu-/jp/.
Old /jp/ was a barely active circlejerk of hyper autists obessed with a niche shmup series and that hated anything too new and were therefore unable to attract new blood, and became stale and bitter, and/or very degenerate lonely virgins with a faerie fetish. They were pigs that enjoyed rolling in their own shit too much.
Nu-/jp/ is home to probably the most annoying, insufferable new fanbase, full of subhumans that pride themselves on emptying their wallets for girl gamer streamers with a facerig. Their twitch-like threads, fanbase wars between themselves and against others, and eagerness to "become tier 3 subs and send akas" as they say, make me feel both disgust and pity in ways I didn't thought possible.
There are 3 good threads in this garbage board, /fumo/, Elona and /ona/. The rest can all burn.
