I didn't mean it that way. I'm not dating at the moment but I said that with the expectation that if I do start again, I don't expect my partner to be interested, and as a corollary, will not make fetish a part of our relationship.

Its just that if she found out incidentally about my mask fetish, it would be a turnoff for her to humor me by wearing one. She has to share the fetish for her engaging in it to be arousing for me, or at least, arousing enough that I would encourage it. Just seems unfair otherwise.
