What does the dot between ya and ku mean?
(Yes I have to learn Japanese keyboard, I've been super busy.)

Also is there a faster way to get kanji and etymology from jisho? The way I'm doing it now is

Draw the kanji
Find it in the list
Hit search
Click details on a word
Scroll down to "kanji in this word"
Click kanji
Read info
Highlight kanji in list below
Couch
Click Wiktionary entry
Scroll to etymology
Click radicals if I don't know them.

There's got to be a faster way.
