foobar2000 is awesome because you can customize it to exactly the way you want, but after using it for a few years and still never taking the time to make an aesthetically pleasing music player for myself, i found musicbee

musicbee can do anything you want, from converting file formats to simply editing information. the big appeal to me is that it looks good from the moment you download it. you don't have to spend time customizing anything to make it look nice. it still has customization features where you can fine tune it and a whole bunch of skins too.

foobar2000 is arguably better, there is unlimited potential to what you can do with it, but i highly recommend musicbee if you dont want to create your own player and just want to listen to music
