I agree they should have done one or the other. But I'm glad we got something and hopefully someone (with money and resources) learns from MoPs mistakes and tries to do one better. Preferably with better audio mixing.
A day in the life series for Touhou could be fun. In terms of material you have endless sources to draw inspiration from and there's so many characters you can go to new characters every episode. The pitfall of regular SoL anime IMO is that it just fucking draaaags on past the first few episodes. This could avoid it, don't linger on anyone too long and you can skip introductions and get right to it since chances are you already are familiar with those characters.

If the anime was just cute girls doing cute things and your typical shounen bullshit, I'd watch the shit out of that. I want to see my girl Okuu being a cute airhead and Marisa yell out her spellcard names on tv .
