Oh, I know that already.
The OP was just the first time I saw Mado's characters and I realized the meaning.
Before then I just processed the hiragana as a straight name and nothing else, since I've never seen 窓付き come up over 窓 in what little I read. I initially guessed the characters were an original name with the meaning of "that which is affixed to window," which isn't too terribly off.

My Japanese isn't the best.

Which one of the derivatives is your favorite?

I always preferred Yume 2kki, as a felt it has a good mix of light-and-dark, has many densely populated areas, has a truly surreal mix of influences, and is simply amazingly large.

.flow was very emotionally compelling and fleshed out, but was overall too dark and dreary for me to truly get drawn in.

Two others of personal note, LcdDem for the OST (ignoring the increasing infamy of the creator), and Oneshot for making the first compelling story in a genre largely defined by the lack of an overarching plot.

The other games that I've tried are either too sparse or unfinished for me to really dig into them.
