Same, I think I watched the first three or two episodes of Gou when it first came out and then dropped it. I wasn't even displeased, but I didn't like that Ryu lied about being a remake and something inside me was telling me to let it go.
My intuition had never once failed me. I feel sorry for the poor anons who suffered through it.
