That's heartbreaking to hear you're the only Touhou, though hopefully at least people recognize you instead of asking what anime your character is from. (Especially since the quality of the cosplay looks really good!) Do you go all the way with makeup and such, or do you stick to purely outfit?

I'm sadly not Japanese but white, which makes me stick out at events here, for better and worse. Touhou events outside of Reitaisai are 99.999999999999% Japanese only. But everyone is still very friendly if shy sometimes. I hope you can come to Japan and visit some of these Touhou events! Like I said, if you know where to look they're pretty much every weekend and a ton of fun. Here's one I had gone to recently, it was a go-kart DJ party (outside, which gave me an excuse to use my purple prescription sunglasses)
