"Oh, just about the next steps." Lady Kasen said, a smirk crossing her face. "I'm sure Reimu's already chomping at the bit to get things going. She absolutely adores weddings." So I'd heard, I replied dryly. Unfortunately, I didn't think Reimu would be chomping at any bits, or doing anything at all for that matter, for at least the rest of the day. It was unlikely that anyone else would be, either. Frankly, I was surprised that Ki was doing as well as she seemed to be. "Hm...Yes, I suppose that makes sense. Honestly, I tell Reimu to pace herself each and every year, and she disregards me every single time. The beginning of the year is a very lucrative period for her Shrine, since it's the time of the year when plenty of people from the Human Village come and offer prayers, and she always handles it while looking like death warmed up." Death had also been at the party, but she'd just asked me for a hug and then staggered off to ask the Yama for some time off. "Yes, well..." Lady Kasen's mouth turned into a very thin line and she straightened up with a frown. "She's a whole other story."

"Anyway, you do have to think about next steps." Raki picked up the conversation. "I haven't seen a wedding in a very long time, so they're probably different from what they were in my day, but you still need to figure out the basic questions. When, where, and who you're inviting." The arm of Ibaraki-douji looked very interested in the prospect too. I was surprised to see that they were both showing such an interest. "Hmm...would you like to explain, partner? Or shall I?" There was a slight smile on her face. Lady Kasen deferred the question to Raki as she continued to look at Yamame's ring. Quietly, just to me, Yamame mumbled a question about if she would ever be getting that hand back. I shrugged and told her to just bear with it. "Well, I'm sure that you can tell how my partner here feels about Reimu Hakurei." I thought about it. Lady Kasen definitely held a great deal of care for Reimu, and she loved to go and nag her about taking better care of herself, or being less negligent in performing her duties.

"Oh, um, she told me that she loves Reimu. She said that she was precious to her." Yamame suddenly said. Lady Kasen looked up at her, her face still a gentle smile. "Er...Should I not have said that? Um, sorry..." Yamame's face went a little red and she frowned, as if she was wondering whether or not she'd given away and important secret.

"No, it's okay, Yamame. I believe that was the point that my partner here was trying to make in the first place. Yes, Reimu is precious to me, but you are precious to her. And, while I have not known you as long as I've known Reimu...I think that I'm coming to care for you the same way. You and Yamame." I felt my eyes widen slightly, and Yamame gripped my free hand with her free hand. "Perhaps it's your nature. Perhaps it's your helpfulness. Either way, I believe we - Both myself and my partner - Want to see things work out well for you. Both of you. It'll make Reimu happy, too, which makes me happy."

"Also," Raki suddenly added. She was playing with a lock of her hair in one hand, and messing with one of her horns using the other hand. I got the sense that it was something she considered to be a little bit embarrassing. "I, er, owe you a lot. Both of you. Not only did you," She nodded toward me, "Convince my partner here to free me, you didn't try and push me away. I haven't forgotten. Right after I was freed, when the Shinigami and the ex-celestial attacked me, you came to me while Reimu went to them. You got me to calm down before I did any real damage and ruined my freedom right there and then." I blinked, remembering the situation. I thought she'd just been thinking about them attacking her. "It's been the efforts of multiple people to get me to where I am now, but you, Yamame, and my partner...You've been almost entirely responsible." She blinked and looked at Kisami, who seemed to be at a loss. "Ah, you offered to swap clothes with me last night, and you didn't question anything about it. I owe you a debt of thanks as well. Thank you for treating me well, Miss Kisami Kurodani." Raki bowed her head.

"Um, that's - You're welcome?" Ki didn't seem very sure what to make of the whole situation.

I didn't either. But I did know that I wanted to show my appreciation, so I asked both of the Ibaraki halves if they would mind coming over here so I could hug them. They shared a look with each other, then Raki sighed and got to her feet. "You and your hugs. Is this a human thing? A youkai thing?" She came over to stand in front of me.
