Now look at this: You're an African, the social paradigm is to have somebody who doesn't die in childbirth, so you're going for the ones with slightly smaller heads and slim facial features. That's the cultural definition of beauty, and since you're going to fuck her and her child is going to survive and do the same then (that is fuck a slim faced girl, not his mother) then you see the culture reinforcing the genetic selection.

Same with the whites, you're a chick, its desirable to want to fuck the most active guy, the guy who can think on his feet etc etc and the same thing happens above.

Now these genes are passed down and become a norm in the race. But lo, we're in the modern world, we don't need to worry about people dying in child birth (C-sections and not dumb as fuck doctors), or goddamn grizzly bears so the environment is weeding out the big heads and focused dudes. Cultural norms have changed, people want smarter kids because that's what society deems beneficial at this time so more young people are getting higher education and marrying people who aren't dumbfucks. Dumbfucks are being weeded out, you can't make it in high school? Enjoy your poverty and early death. If you have ADHD, enjoy your metric ton of ritalin. You're being weeded out. You know what that would lead to? More and more of our offspring getting smarter and smarter because of the environmental pressures I mentioned above. That's already happening with the Flynn effect.

Not only does the environment effect the gene flow, it also effects which genes are being turned on. There is a fat gene, not everyone who has it is fat. Why? Because if your entire family are vegans, you're not going to use that gene a whole lot are ya?

At the end of the day, environment and genes play an important part. The scientific community pretty much agree on it, only idiots are saying its either completely genetics or nature. Hence this guy is an idiot.

Hey guys, about the moon society. What do you think about it? Ive been thinking, since they don't die easily there evolution must be really really slow. Think of it, Bacteria who are constantly dying are ever evolving, one generation of Bacteria may be weak against a medicine and after its wiped out one of it will survive and the new bacteria are stronger. Same with humans and everything alive on the earth. But not the lunarians.

But you can argue that there is no need for evolution on the moon since its a perfect environment that is completely eternal. It will never change and thus the Lunarians have conquered the environment. For humans we have to change for the environment or die, for the lunarians the environment has to change or die. So which is better? The human way of changing and adapting, dying quickly but burning out in a blaze of glory, or the lunarian way of staying the same and living longer? Is the lunarian society a perfect one?
