I got into j-core a few years ago as well, and yeah it's hard to think that it's the same guy, but good for him for getting into the idol world and mixing it up. Akiradeath is still active as well but both him and CoAkira are doing their own things as their main gig.

but you can see has no problem taking the mask off for that, whereas he never takes it off for Death Rabbits, probably because image is like the top priority in idol groups

That being said they make very little effort to reinforce the lore and keep it serious, which is half the fun. Bucho's supposed to be a big strong guy and leader of the Death rabbits army but half the time he's being bullied by Yuzu (belly-chan) so yeah.
