Babymetal's timeline can be divided pre and post Metal Resistance. That album also brought in the at-first slow changes in their appearance and how they handled social media and their priorities and everything.

Pre-MR BM was all about the girls. Post MR BM is all about Koba, he is literally making them into his image right down to their hairstyle.

I don't have a solution or anything, like that other anon said at this point everyone from the fanbase who was gonna bail has already bailed, maybe there's a few hopeful stragglers with one leg out the door but for the most part now whoever is still into babymetal will unconditionally accept whatever madman shenanigans Koba will come up with next.
