We have the canon theory already: JessiKinzotrice!
It's 100% compliant with all given information, makes more logistical sense, and also reveals mountains of subtle jokes and implications throughout the story. It's also BLATANTLY OBVIOUS, to the point where more than half the story is attempting to disprove it, poorly, so you start looking for other explanations that make less sense.

And Battler wearing the same clothes, being the same hight and build, inheriting the headship, becoming a wizard, and having the same relationship with Beatrice, also Kinzo being interested in western mystery novels, unexpectedly strong and muscular, and thinking of himself as a young man at heart, and Tohya thinking he's 18 but saying he feels like an old man physically.

Ikuko is Sayo, Yohya is Kinzo.
The Battler of 1986 is actually Kinzo, who has taken on the role of the actual Battler, who didn't come that year, in order to seduce Saya and turn her into Beatrice. This explains why Tohya, who is supposed to be only 32, has white hair, brain cancer, and is in a wheelchair.

Kinzo is the accomplice, and cause, of Beatrice's murders. Because it turns out Genji(another of his personalities) was right, and Kinzo, learning that Sayo wasn't killed, specifically raised her to become another Beatrice, this time not making the mistake of acting as her father.

This Tohya and Ikuko are the illusory 18th, and 19th people on the island, Kinzo and Beatrice.

This explains absolutely every single facet of the story, including all of Shkanontrice, with additional layers of meaning such as Kinzo wearing the cloak of the game master, Battler being identical to his younger self, and all the parallels with chick Beato.

Furthermore, it also rests on three red truths:
>Knox's 2nd: It is forbidden for supernatural agencies to be employed as a detective technique.
The ONLY proof ever given that Kinzo is dead is by supernatural decree, without that he's the obvious suspect for all murders.
