An interesting parallel so far is that, while Kaytarou is scared by the Polaris group in Oniokoshi due to Marutake telling him about the curse and previous incidents involving the sect, so far he considers the few members he met interesting in Hoshiwatashi and is rather scared by his friends , or Sakiko's, demeanor regarding the group.
