I shouldn't have been surprised that the misinformation about Sekai using the fan translation persists outside of the hardcore fanbase even after it's been definitely proven that it's complete bullshit. No matter how obvious the truth is, bullshit somehow seem to keep spreading faster than it can be corrected.

Except her personality changes completely well before she fucks things up. Her change of personality is more due to the change of writer than due to the circumstances. You can see similar things happening in Little Busters!'s character routes.
