One of the reasons Sakiko is angry/sad is that Satoko is just smiling and trying to act like everything is fine (even though seemed to be despairing in chapter 0...), even though her life should be destroyed (which is why she talks about her father loving her mother and how he never missed her birthday doesn't matter how busy he was), which just frustrates Sakiko rather than actually calming her down. In the next page, she goes on blaming Polaris for ruining her perfect every day life and how if they didn't exist it'd just have continued on and on.

So, we're either going through ANOTHER "Satoko keeps all her suffering to herself even though it just causes problems" story or Sakiko's whole spiel will turn out to be ironic and although she never noticed it her home life was never actually that good.
