Stop insulting the virus, she's a person too. Accepting people who are different from normal is a major theme of Akikuru, it's completely thematically consistent for a virus to be a major heroine.

Anyway I think this is less a problem with Satori's route and more just an issue with Ayumi and Yuzuki's routes being fairly weak, which in turn meant their romances didn't have the same kind of effect. We just needed the other routes to be better.
