Why is reality so cruel? I started watching vtubers because they would make me forget about my depression, and they've helped me cure my broken heart as I've been hurt and lied to by women plenty of times. I really felt like these people were genuine and I was even starting to hope a little.

But then, slowly, you start to wake up from the dream. These personalities aren't real. They only exist to take advantage of people like me. They don't give a fuck about you or what you feel, they only care about your money. They act like pure maidens on screen, but they actually aren't. I know, I'm stupid for thinking these characters are real. I probably already knew these are fake personalities a long time ago, but I was unconsciously ignoring that. Thinking these people were real was the only thing keeping me sane.

To find out that these vtubers who lifted me when I was down are just the same rotten people as the women who've broken my heart when I gave them everything really hurts my will to live.
