I don't mind them singing their own songs, but hiring a 3rd party singer annoys me a little. I was admittedly pleased when the Giga/Reol partnership fell apart.
Do I keep listening to their music? Depends on the case. PinocchioP, I liked HUMAN but not Daihakken. John, I'm not listening to the tooboe stuff. I enjoy wowaka's 3dpd band albums though.
