It isn't as much a problem, but in some ways it's even bigger. Would I see an active thread on later pages on any other board? No. The problem is that its mixed in with threads nobody's posting in.

"Shoving a thread to the front page"? Being at the top of the page shouldn't be some type of big deal. It simply means that someone responded to the thread. And if you love so much going past pages 1 and 2, that shouldn't be much of a deal to you whether a thread is at the top or not.

No, it's not just personal. Plenty of other people have the problem too and may not even know about it.

It is ridiculous either way and it makes /jp/ worse.
