I'd rather do a shot of vodka than a shot of gin, but I'd rather have a gin and tonic than any sort of vodka-based cocktail.

Do you not like those? It tastes like a super-refreshing soft drink to me. I have no interest in sipping and "savoring" any liquor, though. I hate the taste of pure alcohol; it's sharp and pungent and then sweet and sickly.

Not worried about appearing manly or having distinguished, developed tastes because I usually drink to get drunk and always drink by myself.

Well, I mean, I like drinking beer even when not getting drunk, but that's it.
