・知ったばかりのものをやたら他人に得意げな顔で教えたがる
・「オタクキモい」発言に対して、個人に言われたわけでなくても怒り狂う

・オタクを忌避する人々を見下す
・ロリコンを初めとする、特殊性癖をカッコいいと思いひけらかしたがる
・明確な目的もないのにやたら秋葉原やコミケに行きたがる
・アニメ、同人系統の店には二人以上でないと行かない
・「俺ってオタクだから」と自虐を装った自己満足をする
・「自分はオタクだ」と思い込み始めただけのことを「覚醒」「目覚めた」
などと表現する
・低年齢が多いため、ニコ厨にわかが叩かれると「時代は変わってるんだよ
」と言い訳をする
・ほぼ全員が「自分は他と比べディープだ」と何の根拠もなく思い込む
・にわかだと言って叩かれると逆上する
・叩かれると「にわかを叩く奴こそがオタクをステータスだと思っている」

・叩かれると「真性はキモイからにわかくらいがちょうどいい」
