Fuck yeah! This is like a debut for her. I'm just thankful she has a good support system back in AKB48 with her fellow bushido spirit sisters in Team Eito. IZ*ONE made it clear it's not just about the center or being the center, it's also about the individual members contributing as a whole, as one. And more valuable than being the center, atleast in my observation, is the support Hitomi received from her fellow members that helped her grow and gain confidence.

That's what the girls noticed, they realized they can compete with one another while supporting each other. When one rises, so does the other. I'm loving this new united front of AKB48. I could only sense respect and pride for Hitomi from her fellow members, and I observed Hitomi reciprocates it as well.
