First of all, there's a small, small difference between a Best of and a singles collection, it doesn't make a huge difference. As a C-ute wota people would have heard all the songs, either way.

Doesn't that say it's a new recording of the songs...? Not sure what else "other" recordings could mean. If it's so then it's DEFINITELY something new, and a huge deal yo. People have wanted to hear these songs re-recorded for a long time.
