Easymodo could have become something big had Eksopl been serious about it. It has multiple things /jp/ doesn't have e.g. a database of all our posts, a search function, and an ability to continue deleted conversations. But since it lacked things that /jp/ had e.g., the ability to start new threads and make image replies, the users were forced to make commentary on existing threads. Which always leads to meta discussions.

Easymodo has the bait, but no fishing line. Sadly the same can not be said of /bun/, a mere *chan clone.
