Large surfaces of opaque colors, especially white and black, will give you most trouble when making webms. Notice how this webm has heavy artifacting despite having very little movement. The compression can't handle large surface areas and bright lights. This is where 2-pass comes in. Without it, the artifacts would be much worse.
