I posted about this in the past, I did some data collecting, and AKB48 has a healthy balance of male-female fan ratio, and the best part is that there's some indication that the youth of Japan (both male and female) are looking into AKB48.

Curiously though, based on the youtube stats, AKB48 has a healthy balance of male to female fans ratio, and they're still connecting with the younger generation, not just the uncle fans. No wonder the Apex Legends and other game ads during AKBingo. Hopefully they will still come to concerts and atleast buy some merchandise.
