Ok, I get that 入れる is what it is, but pic related shows the 入 reading as はいる rather than いれる in pic related. The transitivity of the verb in this specific case is not specified either, and therefore it's a bit ambiguous. I'm not trying to argue with the usage, I'm just looking for "why" and based on what I've read and looked up so far, it seems far from "the most obvious" way to me.

I know, limited exposure yadda yadda and I'm sure I'll get a better feel for this as I enjoy more material, but if the next game I play uses another way I haven't seen yet, I'll also be curious as to "why" then.
