Well, it's indeed easier and less sadistic, the Hoenn part at least, when you get to the ''Java'' region, which is the new world, if you can manage to read through the massive engrish to know who to fight next, you'll get some pretty nightmarish battles, although by then you should already have a party with 80+ level.

As with every other Touhoumon, BUtsuho (Utsuho + Water Stone) was my key to success.
