You know, it's more like some unrelated posts about the other stuff can fly there, if it's all in one thread and no one cares.

But Ar Tonelico is /jp/ related.
This? Perhaps not really, but it's not as if Ar Tonelico is just some "special clause", it's just some vocal minority fags who doesn't even know what Ar Tonelico is.

Ar Tonelico is no "J-RPG", it's a genuine Galge game with some mindless "J-RPG" elements for some flavour.
It is a genuine Galge game, it was made to be one, it was/is marketed as one, and it is recognized as one.

The point of the game is to dive into the heroines' minds and give them mind orgasms, and the plot is centered around what you find inside their heads while jumping around as horny bunnies in a dream world.
And then you end up with the heroine of your choice in the route you chose to follow.

And sure, there is no R18 graphic content, but in that new game (couldn't find the CG at the moment), there is even a scene when the protagonist and one of the heroines are pushed up against a wall, making out while rubbing their privates against eachother, she is also completely drenched and her clothes are wet so that you can see through them. That is kind of R18 anyway, really.

It's also a text based VN for a majority of the content, it's really just as much of a VN as Rance.
And while Ar Tonelico ayn't a full blown Eroge, it's still a genuine, and a rather daring one for that, Galge.

Don't just judge it based on the companies involved.
