Hello! You seem to stumble upon the world of Yukkuris! You seem to be confused, 'Ko' is not a person at all, but before I can properally explain what a 'Ko' is, you should know what a Yukkuri is!

You see, it all started on a Japanese site called 2ch, a japan image board site where anyone can post about topics depending on the board. Coincidentally, this is where m00t, the creator of 4chan, the site you're using, got his idea of an American(later international) version of the now-popular anonymous image board. Digressing, there was a post in 2ch, featuring a disembodied Reimu and Marisa saying 'Take it easy!' (Of course, it was in Japanese, but I figured you would be bored if I got technical) in ASCII. Because of how absurd it was, even to Japanese Touhou fans, it grew into a meme. Unfortunately(Or fortunately, depending how you look at it) not everyone liked this meme, and started to make doodles and sketches of these heads in various dangerous situations, such as pinning them down or poking their eyes off.

This would later involve to the point of creating a subculture featuring these little disembodied heads, now called Yukkuri(named from what they say in Japanese), in various graphic intensity. Imagine if rats could talk, and were editable. That is essentially what a Yukkuri is.

Which brings us to what I'm correcting you with. a Ko (Pronounced ch-oh) is an abbreviation for 'koyukkuri'. What a Koyukkuri is is essentially a baby, or 'in-development' version of the full grown Yukkuri. If you look to your right you see an image of a Yukkuri family, the big ones being Yukkuris whie the small ones are Koyukkuris, or 'Kos' for short.

With that in mind you now know what a 'Kos' is. Thank you for reading, an I hope you have a wonderful day! Welcome to /jp/ by the way.
