New TTK here, I should be able to smash through E4 today after my ships finish sitting on the docks, and now I turn my gaze to E5.

Attached are my current ships, and after researching comps, it seems my best route is going the top route.

My plan is as follows:

Nagato
Kirishima
Haruna
Hiei
Haguro
CVL (Hiyou?) Reppuu 601, Reppuu Reppuu Ryuusei 601

Second fleet:
Sub (for required fleet comp, is there one better than the rest? I love Yuu)
KTKM kai ni
Ooi kai ni
Beaver
Shimakaze

Everything is or will be Kai.


Now, I still need another ship for the second fleet, and I am not sure what. I have not had any luck with night crafts, so I think my only chance at getting those would be to get a Sendai, but after I finish grinding Ooi today, I don't know if I will have the time or resources.

So my questions are if this comp sounds reasonable, and what should go in that last slot?

This would be for easy mode.
