I really don't know much about dolls, so I have a question.

Is there a huge difference between glass and acrylic eyes, and are they ever compatible on the same doll? Say I'm looking at this kid delf doll from luts, and it comes with some acrylic eyes. Can I later switch those to glass eyes, as long as they're the same size?

Is there a reason to prefer glass over acrylic (or the opposite) in the first place?
