I don't see how the test being easy makes it any less fun. It's $70CAD registration fee, who cares. I certainly won't be able to get to N4 level in the next three months.

Hey, if /a/ can learn Genki 1 in a couple days that's awesome. But I don't watch anime or read manga, so all the Genki 1 material is taking me about the time the JLPT N5 study time survey says, about 150-300 hours. Realistically, about one to three months depending on how intense someone studies/busy they are.
