The writers and artists are trying their goddamn best but I will never be able to take any scene where a character is wearing this silly hat seriously. Yes, I get that it's historically accurate and I appreciate the writers going into ridiculous detail about the history and cultural relevance of the hat and how the different ways you can wear it indicate can indicate your loyalties to various clans. But it just looks silly, and it's not like they're historically accurate with the designs in basically any other way.
