Yeah I'm not good enough at Japanese to know intuitively when certain consonants get modified based on preceding consonants/vowels etc. I wonder if there's also a regional difference in the reading/pronunciation?

Anyway I'm with you, I also prefer the more elegant and softer sound of Sada but if even she herself "prefers" Sata, I think it makes sense to go with whatever she uses
