I recently downloaded and installed Sengoku Rance.
but right after the alicesoft intro the screen turns black and stays black. but this only happens when I use the english translation patch, but since I dontt know japanese Id like to play it in english.

I use windows vista 32bits

Why is Sengoku Rance so shitty compared to Pretty Soldier Wars AD 2048?

You'd think that at least one of the pink haired girls would be the main heroine. But Sill is still just a sex slave, and Rance doesn't even manage to get close to Miki due to her already being paired up.

Heya /jp. I just finished this game for the first time and i'm going to try and play a decently challenging "kill the monkey" route.

Which difficulty setting would be best for that?

On normal mode the game was extremely easy for me except for a few boss-commanders.

Using this as a benchmark, should I try playing 2 stars difficulty or is that to much?

I just got a decent number of points in the playthrough I just did and I want to ask what the kill the monkey option does?

I heard that it enables a route without the whole demon army crap and you just go around conquering japan like they wern't there. Is that true?

If it is, did it get translated? Which bonusses are worth buying for an enjoyable yet challanging playthrough and don't make it to easy?

TLDR : What is the kill the monkey route like and did it get translated? Which bonus's should I definatly buy for my playthroughs?

I feel like such a loser, i've been checking the translators website every day now in hope of the new patch comming out.

I played the game for a couple of hours on the 0.50 patch, But I still came across alot of japanese scenes.... So I stopped playing as I read that the new patch would come out soon. I hope this patch translates all the dungeon events and character events. I wouldn't be able to wait another 2 months for the next patch. =<
